Per Victor&#039;s point #5 along with Sima&#039;s articles, it seems like we may be getting to the point that, regardless of how things started out, 危机 will soon mean 危险 + 机会 in Chinese as well as in English -- if it doesn&#039;t already. 

In the interest of adding something to the conversation, I decided to search google.cn for
危机 危险 机会
I don&#039;t have time to read any of the results right now, but there are 2.5m of them. Furthermore, as you type in the characters, google offers that search as a suggestion!</description>
